evangelistic ministries

While evangelistic ministries use many strategies and methodologies, they all focus on one basic task which is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 28:19. At New Bethel M. B. Church, our evangelistic efforts follow three principles. Each ministry is motivated by love, supports the churches vision and is planned with excellence.

  • Missions

The purpose of this outreach ministry is to mobilize people to fulfill the great commission, which is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our reach extends to our church, our community, our country and our world. Jesus told His disciples to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation" (Mark. 16:15). We meet on the 1st Thursday of every month!

  • Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered bible based program The Twelve Steps in conjunction with Scriptures and the Eight Principles based on the Beatitudes (Matthew 5) offer participants a clear path of salvation and discipleship primarily serving to bring hope in a new way of living, freedom from bondage, a sober life style, healing from past hurts, and the opportunity to give back one day at a time through our one and only true Higher Power, Jesus Christ. We meet every Tuesday @ 6:30 pm on the New Bethel Campus!

  • Compassionate Care

The purpose of the compassionate care ministry is to give support to those who are hurting due to bereavement, illness, isolation or any state of despair. Our mission is to embrace them, love them and remind them that it is the Lord Jesus Christ who can fill every void and heal every hurt.

  • Prison Ministry

The mission of the prison ministry is to seek the transformation of prisoners and their reconciliation to God, family and community through the power and truth of Jesus Christ.
