Compassionate Care Ministry
"To reach those who are hurting, to embrace them, love them, and let them know, that it is the Lord Jesus Christ, who can and will fill every hurt. To help them to understand that the Sovereign Lord is our strength. He is the one that makes our feet like that of a deer and He enables us to go to new heights."
Isaiah 61:1-2; Habakkuk 3:18-19
We have been brought forth as a ministry from the love and concern that our Pastor has for not only his congregation, but for the community.
To help you in your time of grief, whatever that time of grief may be in your life. From the death of a loved one, to personal issues that you may be dealing with, as we go through everyday life.We are here to pray with you, console you and guide you to other resources, that will be able to assist you in your time of need.
Questions you may have while going through a Grieving Process....
Q: Why grieve? What is its Purpose?
A: The grief response expresses basically three things:
Q: Does grief have faces?
A: Yes, it does.
Q: Why do we mourn?
A: This is the process where grief is expressed. It is a natural God-given process of recovery. It's His gift to us to help us get through the pain.
Q: Does everyone mourn?
A: No, everyone has grief, but mourning is a choice.
These are just some of the answers to the questions that you may have as you go through your grieving process. Jesus knows how you feel because he experienced this wide range of human emotions himself.
God isn't shocked or confused by the emotions surrounding grief and loss. When bereaved people bring their emotions to God, he can comfort and heal their hurting hearts.
Scriptures of Comfort in Time of Grief
The Lord is good a stronghold in the day of trouble. Nahum 1:7
Attend unto me, and hear me; I mourn in my complaint and make noise. Psalm 55:2
Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28
Wait on the Lord be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart. Psalm 27:14
Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed; for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee.
